Your AI can buy tickets. You approve the payment.

You already ask your AI assistant to plan trips and compare prices. Now it can shop for tickets too. Connect it to ParlayTix and it can find games, look through the cards for sale, ask for a card that isn't listed yet and line up a purchase. When it's time to pay, it hands you a ParlayTix checkout link, and you approve the payment yourself.

How the connection works

ParlayTix runs an MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools in a controlled way. Once your assistant is connected, it can call ParlayTix tools on your behalf. You sign in with your ParlayTix account, so it only ever sees your own cards, requests and checkouts.

Which AIs can connect

Two clients can connect today:

  • Claude Code. Add the ParlayTix server with one command, then run /mcp in Claude Code and sign in with your ParlayTix account.
  • Codex. Add the server with one command. The login step opens ParlayTix so you can sign in.

Support for the Claude app (web, desktop and phone) and for ChatGPT is coming soon, and isn't available yet. The exact commands to copy are on the Connect your AI page.

ParlayTix is in early access, so signing in currently depends on your account being admitted.

What your AI can do

  • Find tickets. Search games and the cards for sale, with each card's price and pick.
  • Ask for a card. Place a request for a game that has no card listed yet. To reserve your offer, your AI gives you a checkout link. You're charged only if a ticket holder fills the request.
  • Line up a watch. Give it an XP event link and a price, and it drafts a watch for Pepper. Pepper tells you when the ticket total reaches your price. Watches started this way are practice runs for now and don't buy anything.
  • Get a checkout link. Pick a card and your AI fixes the current listing terms and hands you a ParlayTix checkout link.
  • Keep track. See your cards, your requests and the status of your checkouts.

A typical request might be: "Find cards for the next home game where my pick is the team winning its division, and show me the upfront price next to the full ticket price." Your AI searches, shows you the options and, if you want one, gives you the link.

What your AI can't do

Some steps stay with you, and the system is built around them:

  • It can't pay. It can't sign, confirm or debit anything. Every purchase finishes on a ParlayTix checkout page, and only you approve the payment there.
  • It can't move ownership. A card becomes yours only after the payment goes through and the purchase is recorded.
  • It can't tell Pepper to buy. A watch started from your AI can only notify you. To let Pepper buy inside your limits, set up the watch yourself on Watch & buy.
  • It can't see other people's data. Every read is tied to your account.

You stay in control

Before you approve, the checkout page shows the price and the card's terms. Those include the miss case: if your pick misses, the upfront price is spent. When your AI starts a checkout, it fixes the listing terms at that moment. If the seller changes the price before you pay, the old checkout won't charge you the new price.

You can change or remove your AI's access at any time from your Account settings. Removing access cuts the connection, and reconnecting takes a fresh sign-in.

Why connect your AI at all

The searching is the slow part. An assistant can compare packs across games, check which picks settle in time, and keep an eye on your requests while you do something else. The payment step stays the same as on the site: one page, one approval, from you.
